It’s not about classified data on your phone. Unless your name is Trump you’re already in jail for that. It’s about your finances or habits that may make you susceptible to bribery to get them info on something or someone you have access to.

Yup. But if they were legally obligated to automatically give it to the government would you opt in to that? If so we are already doomed. Chinese companies have no choice but to give it to the government.
