TIL you can set a successor to your GitHub account in case accidents happen.
This is one of the best GitHub features I haven’t discovered for a while.
Highly recommended for every open source maintainer to set it up!

(See eg. all the mysticatea projects that the eslint-community project has picked up – our challenge is mainly npm, not GitHub repos)
I mention this because this npm upgrade might get approved faster if pitched from the design/ux side. MDO/Fat could do that.
