If we drop 6 points in this period we would of match last seasons total at the same point in the season. The start to this one has been far harder but has left those with high expectations thinking it's far worse then it is! 2nd half of the season is hope we see what all this grinding was about 💪🏽

I'm still very hopeful that we'll catchup. Our December is kinder compared to the fixtures City and Liverpool have. And hopefully, a points deduction at some point this season for City but I'm not holding my breath.

I think I've read out of 11 games we had 7/8 away fixtures, we also played 5 away games vs our nearest rivals. We got a great opportunity to make the the next 11 games flip the script! I think we will

Agreed. I think it's been overlooked by pundits and other journalists that we've had a tougher start than most people think. Definitely room for optimism.

I think they over look it on purpose because, crises creates noise and noise gets people's attention. Any level headed pundit would be saying don't sleep on arsenal. We ride an injury filled period, playing the best the league offers and came out okay. Not perfect but okay, we're far from out of it

Yeah. I think the first few games after he got injured, we didn't miss him too much. But as the fixtures and injuries built, his absence was noted.

Just feel so disappointed with this season man. Not all been our fault entirely but not played that football we did for second half of last season and defence/ set pieces dropped off massively

Yeah, I think a combination of tough fixtures and injuries has derailed the start of our season. I also think we were a winger/striker short in the summer.

Palace away is often, as we say in American football, a trap game. I think the British term is "banana skin." And no game against Man U can be presumed a win until the final whistle.

But I think 7-for-7 can be done, if there are no new injuries.

Yeah in past season Selhurst Park has been tough, but they’ve been v poor this season. Man United though are literally a new team under Amorim especially with 3atb, they will be very stubborn

Yeah, Palace is a potential banana skin as you suggest. I'd like to think we'll get 3 points at United though. We have to if we want to seriously contend for the title.

At the end of these we will know whether we are actually title contenders or fighting for a CL spot. I'd take unbeaten with 19pts but less than that and we're relying on others to drop points.
