What arena food would you recommend to someone going to their first NHL game tonight? I am bad at this

You really can’t go wrong with poutine, though fries with your choice of main dish (burger, hotdog, tenders, etc.) is always an acceptable choice.

Pretzels are always a safe bet. Except in St Louis.
The pizza is pretty decent at Little Cesars😂

Maybe it's the Montrealer in me, but arena dogs at Scotiabank Centre are hot garbage.
Between the prices and the dismal quality, I'd vote for eating prior and trying to sneak a snack in.

I know it’s basic, but hard to screw up your basic chicken tenders and fries. That’s my go to…at least start with!

I’m usually a soft pretzel girlie but looking forward to getting a smoked meat sando in Montreal next weekend!

If you're going to poutine, I'd get it from a food truck on the Quebec side of the river. Yes, I'm a poutine snob. 😅

Fries is the go to, Poutine definitely optional, but Rink Fries would be my overall suggestion. Usually they're better at smaller rinks though :)
