About the shootout screw-up in Montreal, it was resolved correctly, if not clearly. I actually thought it went in on first viewing and was confused that people didn't know. Elliotte Freidman was actually in the Situation Room when it happened and has a fuller explanation. www.msn.com/en-ca/sports...

Does anyone have a Canadian income tax software/service they like? Used TurboTax for 20 yrs, never using it again after the recent debacle (wasn't affected, but it shows how they refuse to accept responsibility). Tried H&R Block last year, s/w was fine but had a bad experience with Customer Service.

@scoutingtherefs.bsky.social Did you see the shootout in Montreal (game was on Prime)? Nazar's (CHI) shot went in and got stuck in the frame -- but a goal was not awarded at the time. Laine (MTL) shot and missed. Then they found Nazar's puck, or used video review, and awarded the CHI goal.

Another update, which really isn't changing THAT much. Since the #GoHabsGo got their loser point tonight, Columbus must win both of their remaining games in regulation OR Montreal must pick up at least one point versus Carolina. Columbus keeps doing what it needs to do, while the Habs aren't.

With tonight’s win in Montreal, the Blackhawks avoided becoming the first team in NHL history to lose to 31 other teams in one season. They would have been the first team since 1992-93 to lose to every other team in one season. (Sharks and Sens both did, but there were only 24 teams back then.)

Defensive mistake by Hutson there. He should have stayed in the middle of the ice. Instead he skated past Reichel, leaving him all alone. Same mistake Xhekaj made on Aho's goal. At least Hutson has the ability to make up for it.

Yesterday was lovely & we went to Tommy Thompson Park on the Leslie spit and we saw river otters! We sat down for a snack and to watch the birds and these two otters swam by and circled back to get a good look & got quite close to us. Apparently they are shortsighted. Never seen them so close!
