Cats and other animals, even though they will break my heart. Gardening, mainly for food. Habs, they used to be good, really. Miami Dolphins, finally on the upswing. Notre Dame, at least until Bowl season.

Agree, he stuck around WAY too long. But in the end, it might have worked out better since Carney is still "new car fresh" now.

This is a "probability of winning" chart, NOT a "polling average" chart. 98% of the electorate is NOT voting Liberal next election, but they will very likely win the election. It's the equivalent to a "likely to win" chart for sports when you know the score near the end of the game.

I do not believe you are making enchiladas. If you were, we would be seeing her eating an enchilada because there is no way you can resist those eyes.

Take it you couldn't smother him with a pillow that first night?

No. Since they only need 1 pt.

Think the only reason the Liberals slid in some of the most recent polls is trump stopped talking about Canada. They need to keep poking that orange turd of a bear so he keeps talking and tanking the CPC.

You know what the two "moving averages" are and that the values have crossed? It's what that means thats is not 100% certain. We're hoping it means the third paragraph shown here for Telsa and musk: www.investopedia.com/terms/d/deat...

That isn't really a possibility anymore. We don't trust America and won't again for a VERY long time.

Those pads look like they just came out of the box. Not a puck mark on them. LOL

Elliotte Freidman was actually in the Situation Room when it happened and has a fuller explanation. www.msn.com/en-ca/sports...

And the crowd was really pumped up at the time, but he needed to be smarter. Maybe one of the veterans should have tried to keep everyone calm. Oh well, lets see if they try to play for OT on Wednesday against whoever Carolina suits up. Sixty minutes of four guys across the blue line. 🥱

The Guhle penalty. 🤦‍♂️ IMO, it wasn't that he mis-timed it, it was that he tried it at all. Habs had just taken a 2-0 lead, were in control of the game, show some situational-awareness and just play safe, boring hockey for 45 minutes and they win. Instead he went for a showboat hit and it cost them.

Not on Tik Tok. But those of you who are, could you please tell him to EFF. RIGHT. OFF!

They're saying they told the off-ice officials before Laine shot, so it was them who screwed up. bsky.app/profile/glef...
comment in response to post
Of course they did, because if they did it after Laine's attempt, the goal could not be allowed. 🙄 So they're throwing the Montreal off-ice officials under the bus for screwing this up.

Now, having said all this, there is no guarantee the Habs wouldn't have lost the shootout anyhow.

It got screwed up but we're not sure how. They review all goals, so would obviously be looking closely at all shootout attempts, but if they thought it needed a longer look, they should have called the off-ice officials to let them know so they stop the shootout. Shootouts have been reviewed before.

We don't know if it was video review or they just found the puck. But I did cover both possibilities. A missed goal during normal play results in a re-set to when the goal should have been noticed. bsky.app/profile/wayn...

If it was video review, they shouldn't have allowed the goal as soon as Laine shot. (They should have stopped Laine from shooting if they were reviewing.) If they allowed it after finding the puck, think that's equivalent to missed goal during play and Laine should have been allowed to shoot again.

Wednesday will be interesting. Carolina hasn't had anything to play for for a while now. It's the first of a back-to-back to end their regular season. I'm sure they'll rest some guys -- can't load up on recalls from Chicago though, but any new signings may play. Suspect they'll rest more on Thursday

Cool. We might get to see Columbus pull the goalie in a tie game to get the regulation win. Haven't seen that in ages.

I did see the puck go in, I didn't see that it didn't come back out. 🤷‍♂️

The game turned on the totally unnecessary penalty by Guhle late in the first. 🤦‍♂️
