I've been rad for years now, but I'm just so tired. The internet has given me access to learn about every contemporary atrocity and their contexts. I have read more about fascism than i thought I could; what it looks like, how it rises, how it falls.
And throwing away literally all political influence in the process. The context of this post is asking whether you will be radicalized or despair. The commenter here gave up a platform which could have been used to push rhetoric, if you prefer your mental health that's fine, but by definition...
these people arent going to listen
spending time on the nazi site is both a waste of time and energy. spending time with bigoted family members is a waste of time and energy and potentially endangering yourself.
you seem young so i hope you come to realize to choose your battles is self preservation
I’d say im pretty rad
I want to end corporate influence in congress since corps aren’t humans
I want to allow self determination over the USA’s occupied colonies (hawai’i and puerto rico)
Give Oppressed groups the same rights as everyone
I want Danish Grønland
Above all i want individual rights
There is a lot of doomers on here so don't mind them. Are you working with your fellow working class to organize, unionize and convers with those around you who are amenable?
Get a union or in contact with some sort of pro-worker group in you local area to start. Welcome abord.
No. Maybe if I was a bit older, but Im still in college. I’m not prepared for anything, Im just trying to survive my classes. Now I have to survive the government on top of that. Man- it’s no fair
Neither. Being radicalized or despairing are basically two forms of acquiesing. One could also choose to have strength of character and be resolute in their beliefs to fuel fighting back. No time for despair.
No, it's not. Fighting back to protect your rights and freedom is normal not radical. I don't know about you, but I and most people I know were raised not to look for trouble but also to never hesitate to defend yourself when necessitated. Fascism is such an example.
the civil rights movement was radical. the labor rights movement was radical. the suffrage movement was radical. the abolition movement was radical. radical action gets the goods.

It's not despair. It's dread.

The question is to despair about the right things.

Some of colum B
I've always been radicalized, but now I'm even more so. And more angry.
But maintaining outrage is exhausting.
