This gets me thinking of birds elsewhere in the world that people see every damn day, and how glimpsing even one would blow me away. Like when I was in NYC and saw a titmouse. Or a European robin in London. Or the kiskadees I spotted in Mexico, and imagining them as just everyday birds.
