Straight out of uni, I worked a grim job doing unsociable hours for a psycho. I'd walk back home in the small hours each day, past a lovely little cemetery full of snowdrops. Made me smile every time I went past, despite it all.
I wonder if it's coincidence or if snowdrops really like cemeteries?
A perfect setting for a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel. My snowdrop have just made an appearance, along with some brave crocus flowers. Spring marching steadily northwards...
Robin, next time you are down in Eastbourne do get in touch & we'll take you on a tour of our cemetery.
You'll be pleased to know that our HQ for meetings is The Lamb Inn! 😊
