Bluesky is brilliant for the Bylines Network. 🦋

So much better than X or Facebook. It doesn’t kill news links, the news mix is healthier here, and it’s an ideal environment for community-building.

I suppose there are a lot of fake or non-accounts on twitter. I blocked accounts, which followed me and didn’t seem to be real persons. Now it started here on bluesky as well.

I'm not surprised. My own personal engagement is greater in the past few weeks of Bluesky than it was for probably the past decade of Twitter. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Why bother when you have to wade through so much sludge?
