Another great example of how being engulfed in disordered discourse creates what I like to call a Bubble Lens Effect, where you see the world through the surface of an information bubble, distorting reality.

It's ironic that the new leadership of the United States behave exactly like the Nomenklatura in the Soviet Union. The world has to conform to ideology. Since this is not possible, force has to be used, cloaked with some ennobling 'arguments'. So rapprochement with KGB-Putin kinda makes sense...
Trump just wants someone there he simply can kick over and next pillage the countries natural resources, and leave the occupied territories for the Russians.
It's just insane, layer upon layer of inversion and distortion. Elon suggesting that any outcome where Zelensky remains alive is 'distasteful' and talking about 'returning democracy' in the face of Z's massive and growing support from the public and Rada.
As distasteful as it is... I believe that Musk finally attaining the power/attention he so desperately craved has exacerbated his drug use and mental illness. He is a literal madman at this point
These pronouncements from the top of government feel like a dystopia that wouldn’t have been possible pre-tech. The lords of the twitterverse spawn some delusion on X, where it thrives — until it’s replaced by whatever fabrication is needed for the next act of cruelty or self-dealing. /1
No matter if it’s a factual representation of the real world or not. It’s not permanent. These guys live online in a universe unconnected to material existence - no thousands of dead civilians, no first responders, no actual bombs that fry their consoles. It’s all a game, & the only object is to /2
score the most points and be thought clever and reckless. “What can I devise to make myself the superhero?” Such a conjured shape/shifting world wouldn’t be cognitively possible if the heroes ever got snagged by terra firma. Nor would it spread so fast and insidiously. /3
Only now the point-scoring hits have consequences in that remote universe called reality where most of humanity resides. Sad and disquieting times. /end
He knows exactly what he is doing and saying! He is not a fascist because he has a 'distorted view of the world', he has this view of the world because he chooses to be a fascist.🤷♂️
And all the appeasers who think Z should pander to their egos. Abusive, needy men will take your hand and your arm and you won’t get anything for it. And the whole suit thing boggles my brain
it would have been Z breaking a promise to his countrymen and complying to their expectations, showing his inferiority by complying and showing their frivolous wishes were more important than his promise to his countrymen. That is what is was about.
This is not to be confused with believes or opinion. This is targeted posting of false information and narratives to manipulate public opinion. X is not a platform to exchange information and discuss, it is MAGA's mass propaganda instrument
I'm not so sure - the human brain is a strange thing, and we've created a strange world for it to exist in. And this will be amplified hugely for someone like Elon, who has created this weird Twitter experience for himself and will be surrounded now by people telling him what he wants to hear
And I don't think the Farage thing was even mental gymnastics - he supported the Reform guy, then when the Reform guy said he didn't want to admit Robinson, he said the Reform guy was unfit for the job. He just wants what he wants, and if someone is in he way, they are his enemy
He wants… Yes, this means Elon Musk is a cold-blooded manipulator and criminal. Descriptions like “autistic,” “awkward,” and “childish” distract from the main issue — he must be stopped.
One could definitely argue that Occam's Razor leads us to the conclusion that he believes the shit he's doing - it requires only one assumption, which makes it very favourable under that principle
Either way - as you allude, it doesn't really matter. What matters is the actions he's taking
It's also a mirror effect. When you are engaging yourself constantly in illegal activities, you assume that everybody does so and cannot imagine that anyone could ever have other motives.
These goblins see the world only through the lens of their own distorted morality, where the only reason for being in government is purely a thirst for power over others and not a genuine sense of responsibility to his people.

How much is lies, how much delusion?
Jean Baudrillard described this as the fourth order of Simulacra and Simulation

Also the Ukraine nation will have to provide him security detail for the rest of his life in case Russia have a go at him just in case.
This is purely personal animosity from Trump.
You would reach more people, when you add a good description into the Alt-text field.
That is pretty easy, especially, when your image just contain text.
This way, you support visually impaired people and everyone else, who rely on a good filled Alt-text.

We can only speculate now, but any conclusion should lead to action. Don’t try to reverse engineer his motives; treat him as the enemy he is.
Either way - as you allude, it doesn't really matter. What matters is the actions he's taking
If Russia fucked right off out of Ukraine, problem solved.
Are just playing it to get their agenda done.
I can't tell anymore.
Also, same exact thing right now with my response but on Bluesky rather than Twitter.
