Yes, they are. Theyre rolling over and allowing this. They actively destroy anyone who might suggest that they should improve, and they uphold the rich white savior status quo. Theyre WHY we are here. Fuck the Dems. Theyre equally culpable
Democrats are financial beneficiaries of the corrupt two-party system and rabid proponents for a violent, abusive status quo.
They are blatantly Not Part of the Solution, and as a party they are far more likely to impede than support any meaningful progress or change (aka, a 'problem'.)
Nobody is happy when they're put into boxes they don't belong. Your binary attitude is reductive and unhealthy for a country that needs to look beyond the binary solutions your two-party system swears by.
I’m joyful and I am a Black Woman in Trump’s America. Spare me the rest. I’m woke AND I don’t want to hear this binary excuse anymore. We are the most educated group of people in this country. Now go away, I don’t argue with people on the Internet. Bye
Almost... OLD Democrats are the problem. They live in their heads in pre-MAGA days of civility and compromise. I have a lot of hope for the Sunrise Movement. Young people make up the majority of the eligible voter population and THEY should be running the country...
I have to. Look into this movement. First I'm hearing of it.
I agree about the old way of thinking. I think of it as a tug of war. Dems are still just holding the rope, but the right is pulling hard, and even sneaking some Russian friends into their team. If the Dems keep trying to keep their old
Hey, autocorrect and I are in the midst of a cage-fight to the death (and I only have old, arthritic fingers - I imagine claws to be quite the challenge!)
I'm skeptical, but I definitely agree with the concept! Each generation thus far has been instilled with progressively more pro-social and humanitarian values. I would love to see that be the direction this country takes. 😸
