Haha/hehe/lol are used on the subdued side
🤣😂 Are authentic to what I'm doing beyond the text
Same with 🤣😭 because I'll be laughing and also sad/frustrated or potentially real tears
Which is why I prefer audio
So much of who I am gets missed in text

I have a friend who types out “hahahahaha” when you say something he thinks is funny but when you voice chat with him he actually laughs when he types it. It’s very wholesome.
