Some RSS aggregators give you a special email address so you can sign up to newsletters with email and they get shuffled into the feed! I know Feedbin does and I imagine others do too

i'll add to this on a serious note: a lot of people are anxious about abandoning substack, and i get it, but i think the risks are overblown. other platforms have smaller built-in communities, but users just don't really care what platform you're using, and most take a smaller cut than substack

the big difference between all of these is that with substack you can set up for free and the others charge you based on your subscriber number (free or paid). So if you aren't making any $$ on your newsletter, you're running at a loss with any other platform.

i agree that these places need more robust free options, but if you have an audience or expect to build one, even a relatively small one, substack becomes the more expensive option very quickly
