This is my worry we already know H1N1 is American swine population. And with this new Trump administration officials who are not fans of science nor vaccines. We are at a perfect storm. It is not if H1N1 becomes the pandemic it is when.

One would hope. But, that requires self awareness and understanding that you are going in the wrong direction, which unfortunately doesn’t seem to be a priority in the incoming Trump administration.

There were limited human to human transmissions in 2007 in Indonesia,and pandemic did not occur. So we have some hope. The problem is that US response will be utter incompetence given who US will have in charge of Public Health

The best is mask use when out and about.
But even then no one practices mask use.
Best solution is vaccines, but even then again many don’t trust the vaccines.
