I'll be very honest that when she won the Oscar, I feared it was curtains.
But, whether I enjoyed the film or not, I have so much respect for Michelle Yeoh for making sure it happened, and choosing to remain a part of this universe

If there's anyone out there who doubts how committed #StarTrek star Michelle Yeoh is to playing Georgiou, she told us she was pitching for Section 31 ideas before Season 1 of Discovery officially aired. My latest:

I totally understand that people's opinions should be aired and critics should do what their profession demands them to do. Even if I personally feel context has been missed here (I enjoyed it last night), it wasn't the greatest, but then there's been a myriad of episodes in Star Trek history
that when aired or subsequently watched by those to young to have seen them when they were released, have gained understanding and a modicum (at least) of recognition. We can't always have it how we feel it should be and this isn't an accusation at the genuine critiques. But it is respect for
creatives and the actors involved which is exactly what you have offered here to people like Michelle Yeoh and many many more involved. I genuinely apologise beforehand if I'm being presumptuous... But I feel people sit to watch thee things with personal expectations and not with a clean slated
Love to all 🖖
Thank you for everything Seán! 🙏
