Shameful.
Labour talk about difficult decisions and tough choices.
The choice this time? To cut the foreign aid budget.
Why are the 'difficult choices' never taxing the wealth of the super rich?

Something I noticed Starmer do is paper over all the mistakes of the Blair years. Not only did Iraq 2.0 cause huge problems with European defence procurement it caused refugee crisis. Starmer yanking foreign development? Madness on madness.
Blair had the hots for slapping disabled and unemployed in his first week, and later slapping trans women. Plus a lot of other nonsense we're paying big time for. PFI, housing shot to shit, corporate party donors etc etc.
Strategy? Law? Best practice? Expertise? Outcomes? Totally absent. Zombie government.
I speak in past tense. Badenoch as PM hasn't happened yet though do agree she's MAGA levels of batshit.
After Russia invaded Ukraine for the second time it still took the Green Party more than a year into the war to abandon its opposition to NATO (and even then only conditionally).
Shameful.
