You're not the first person whom I've heard refer to spite as a motivating factor on those days when nicer motivations fail, and I totally get that. I have a mental image of a small creature with its teeth locked on the achilles tendon of a rampaging brute that is currently kicking it to death.

I am exhausted already. People in my circle say I'm overreacting and we're going to be fine. I really don't see "fine" anywhere in the near future. Sanity has checked out.
