With upcoming resignations to join the administration, House will soon be 217-215. And Turner is angry and not voting, so that's 216. A single disgruntled GOP member can effectively hold entire House hostage until their personal demands are met.
I do not see much passing the House. Not without Dems.

Well said sir. Trump is a lame duck president and everyone in Washington knows it. They abhor lame duck presidents as his power will decrease everyday as we get closer to the mid-terms. Confusion and incompetence will reign as he starts to check out. Let’s hope mixed messages don’t lead to WW3.

Power will be centralized in the White House, which is fine if it's wielded effectively. But when the going gets tough Trump tends to do nothing, or the minimum, or he falls back on the default conservative position and claims he invented the lightbulb.
