This is like learning how I visualize timw...it's called synesthesia. Some people visualize numbers in colors. I visualize the days of the week in color, each day with a specific color...and I see it stretched out like a film strip, the past to the left and future to the right.

my gahd.
as much as I'd relish the dream of a "quiet mind", I personally think I'd go insane. my inner "loudness" is how I work thru things, literally have full on conversations that I can't have with others.
I think as a kid I used it as a "coping mechanism", now I couldn't live without.
