Second, Jenner & Block — a major national firm with more than 100 lawyers in DC — is bringing this lawsuit. This, in turn, is important for multiple reasons. While some are shutting up in the wake of Trump's threats, it's good that Jenner is standing firm and still willing to sue the Trump admin.

Also, the lawsuit is filed and signed by Adam Unikowsky, a highly respected lawyer who has argued a dozen cases at the Supreme Court (and clerked for Scalia before that). Three other partners are on the filing as well. The message: This is a serious lawsuit that will go where it needs to go.
