I do not know a lot about the DOJ specific govt benefits but this math looks like 18 years service and she left before the 20 year mark therefore reaching retirement (aka pension, etc)? It must be hell inside those halls right now.

Oh Chris.

I mean, there is regularly churn, and there are always — (?) — people going in. I am pointing out these two (and maybe others) because they are senior people who worked throughout the entire first Trump administration — both started in DOJ during the George W. Bush admin — and yet they are leaving.

my son is a young appellate attorney at the DOJ (ENRD) and he says a lot of his colleagues looking at the exits and starting conversations with private firms about other opportunities. he describes the conditions as close to intolerable...even for those in less politically sensitive areas.
