your feed probably has more pikmin fans than mine does lol but i love oatchi! imo pikmin 4 is the most fun in the series even if i havent finished it yet, thats coming from someone who really loves the first two but im not going to hold onto nostalgia

As for me, I haven't finished a Pikmin game before but I have a lot of respect for Pikmin 4 for convincing me to give the series a chance cause the demo for 4 was genuinely really fun and the game beyond that also seems very enjoyable ^^

The Pikmin 3 DX demo was the first Pikmin game I played and I didn't feel positively about it buuuut times have changed since 2020 LMAO

Maybe I'll feel more positively after I play it with a more open mind nowadays

this is so funny to me because the upgrades that make him broken are literally fucking optional. like i get the premise of having to account for players metagaming the fun out of things but sometimes its just your own fault man

Yeah, I'm not too familiar on the Oatchi controversy so I'm refraining from saying anything strong about how I feel especially since I haven't finished 4 yet

I understand both sides of the argument is all I'll say but I personally like Oatchi and just treat him as a bigger special Pikmin type

In fact I like Oatchi as a sorta difficulty slider for the game since a lot of his tools are optional it's fun to min or max Oatchi to my liking and accounting for how strong he is relative to my other Pikmin I have on me
