It's gotta be part of Capcom's contract with Nintendo. They've released every character so far near the end of the month, so it would be weird for them to make an exception now, without some very specific reason.

SF6, Strive, Granblue and UNI2 are all doing pretty alright currently in comparison to the other games in the limelight. Hopefully VF doesn't stumble its way to launch like COTW has.
