highly unconventional Kamala Harris should out Trump Trump announce immediately run as potus. News media forced to cover her as candidate and it would make Trump mad and give us constant split screen. The millions need someone to stand in the void. She can change mind later. Midterms too late.

It was not half the country who didn’t vote for Trump. It was 65% who did not vote for him, if you include the 35-37% who did not vote for either him or Harris. He does not have a majority or a mandate. The media need to do better in framing the election outcome.

It could be that those of us who supported the democrats were the ones who were actually duped. The Dem leadership benefits from the corruption too.

So true. People worked hard for the 2024 election and now...nothing. I see few Dems on Bluesky or Facebook or in any news. It does appear they've given up. The Republicans have shown that the bar for what is acceptable is really low. Congressional Dems need to get mad and show it.

We also need to stop pretending the dems are much different. We need a true choice-a 3rd party. As it stands, the dems in office lose nothing while still enjoying the benefits of luxurious lifestyles provided by taxpayers. They have no sense of urgency.

I agree completely. I can’t figure out if it’s complacency or agreement. I guess we’ll hear their righteous indignation when it’s time to raise money for midterms.
