Well, this is more information on a job I have applied for than I have had. I finished my doctorate in 2018 but have been underemployed ever since. I'm not really surprised this is how it's going.

I'm reminded that a music bachelor's and an MLS could get you a university job as a music librarian in the 1980s. That was the situation at Stony Brook, anyway.

It's now a Ph.D. and whatever the library and information science degree is called.
