Way back when early in my career we had an isolated case of measles. I can’t recall the specifics, but I remember no one in the entire hospital had ever seen measles in real life. All you young guys and gals better be studying up, y’all bout to see some stuff.
Look, the voters have spoken. Americans want measles. They voted for epidemics. All you can do is try to protect your own kids, 'cause the American public won't help them.
Measles also has the comorbidity impact of inflicting a sort of amnesia on ones developed immune system — you do NOT want this shit, and vaccinations have been around for ages.
Because Donald J. Trump is NOT an educated, well read person, he puts lives at risk with his vile bile in service to puppet masters who appeal to his vanity.
NONE of them care about American citizens. DON the CON is FRAUD
This is very risky for pregnant women. I'm not in America, so curious has the worm in his brain man cos playing as Head of Health made any statements yet or offered questionable advice?
I am old enough that I had measles and many of the childhood diseases. But as soon as there were vaccines, my parents insisted we get vaccinated. They weren’t innocent childhood diseases. There is no reason to have them spread like wildfire now.
Those that are immunocompromised and depend on herd immunity are the ones I particularly feel for. It's a car crash happening in slow motion, I suspect.
Texas outbreak was reporting cases in some individuals who were vaccinated — the doomsday scenario here is that measles adapts enough to circumvent all of our hard work in building up herd immunity, and we all get to live out a plague worse than COVID that should’ve stayed dead
Wait until a cow gets bird flu and regular flu at the same time and they mutate to a deadly flu that will infect lots of humans. Since they’ve opted out of WHO it will be a pandemic before we even know what hit because they won’t disclose it to anybody.
Measles is here. TB is here. Polio is here. Those genies aren't going back in the bottle that easily. Perhaps the plague will spread next and we will not have enough Chinese made generic antibiotics to treat it..
Gonna be a good day somewhere, just probably not here.

This is a disease essentially eliminated from the US 25 years ago, back now due willful ignorance and rampant fuckwittery.
Vaccines work by preventing outbreaks not by providing absolute immunity.
If there’s an ongoing outbreak immunized kids will still get sick. Less, to be sure, but it’ll still happen.

Not so much for the grief felt by their anti-vaxxer parents.
Natural selection is real.
