Reminds me of a fave childhood book — Home for a Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown. Published 1956 and a perennially popular #GoldenBook
It was a #BannedBook in some libraries because some believed the story subtly encouraged miscegenation.
anyone who has ever witnessed the total devastation an out of control population of rabbits can inflict would find it difficult to find "bunnies" cute
I cannot forget what I have seen
And I can't look any more at cute bunnies
I have just died from cuteness overload. This post is just involuntary finger twitches until my body goes limp. My only regret is that I never owned an adorable bun-bun of my own.
It’s never too late. Though rabbits are typically not snuggle bugs, rather, they might nuzzle you or sit next to you and if you’re very lucky, hop into your lap, but they really don’t like being restrained at all.
I have second-hand rabbit experience through friends. Their bunny stayed in a cage but got frequent “out” time when they were there to supervise. He (the bun) was curious, but not friendly like a cat. (And his favorite treat was plain shredded wheat biscuits!)

I wish secretly I could slap them when they say that, of couse.

I wish they'd eat weeds
but no, of course not . . .
they're chowing down on the annuals & perennials I'm planting in my garden
😨
I just don’t want to encourage people to get bunnies only to find out they like their space.
This is not to say they’re not social- they are. But they express it differently.
