Write down what happened, when, and how it affected you. Save emails, messages, or any evidence. It’s easier to take action when there’s a clear record.
In NL, you’re protected by the Arbeidsomstandighedenwet and the General Equal Treatment Act. Discrimination and harassment (including ableism) are not allowed.
If there’s someone higher up than the boss, talk to them. Or write a formal letter describing what’s happening and asking for respectful treatment.
It took 2 years of entrenched effort to resolve an issue at my place of employment.
