The distance of M31 from the Milky Way is 2.2 Mio. LY and not, as you write, 300 Mio. LY. M31 will interact with the Milky Way in about 3 million years. If your assumptions were correct, Andronmeda would have to be moving towards us at faster-than-light speed. But that is not possible.
