I was a summer associate at Paul Weiss in 1979. Named partner Lloyd Garrison, one of the most distinguished lawyers of the 20th Century, spoke at lunch one day. He proudly told us about representing witnesses being harassed by Joe McCarthy. The firm has a rich history of standing up to bullies.
