Trump’s Tariffs would be held illegal if the Constitution’s separation of powers were taken seriously. Hell, they’d be struck down by Trump’s Supreme Court if its Major Questions Doctrine and its commitments to original meaning and textualism were consistently applied to Article I and IEEPA. 🔥

I'd be interested in your ideas of the 25th amendment.
This has been in the works a long time. SCOTUS nom stolen from Obama wasn't the first move, but it was a major step forward.
Dems need to learn it's not enough to have the right ideas. We have to make them happen from the ground up.
Whether they are or not is a conversation for another post.
The Constitution gives Federal government limited powers to maintain courts, coin money, maintain a military, operate post office and that’s about it!
Everything else reserved to the States.
See 9th and 10th amendments.
Congress IS starting to move on the tariffs, though, and at least one lawsuit has been filed.

Later, only later, called a revolutionary war.
When the Unitary Executive is unleashed?
In line with the Boston Tea Party, why should we be taxed for services that are being eliminated?
