Personally I don't like the Zelda movie being Live-Action because outside of the few humanoid races (including MCs) most Zelda characters are really weird and silly (in a good way) and Live Action could limit that. It shouldn't be Game of Thrones but Nintendo, it should be Spirited Away but Action

And to be fair modern audiences have kind of been conditioned to shit CGI effects and nothing practical in recent times so I can understand the dismay from people.
Breath of the Wild feels like a beautiful grand adventure because of the gameplay and the way it immerses you into the world, without that it's just a poorly written generic fantasy story
Linear Story-Heavy games like TLOU translate really well into movies/shows but I think adapting them actually hurts them because
The Tree of Life (2011) and Mirror (1975) could never possibly work if they were animated, meanwhile Angel's Egg (1985) and Mad God (2011) could never possibly work in live action
