Is that the ICE 2d6 LOTR game? Nice list.
I've thought about ditching fantasy world building and using a fantasy version of England. That would allow me to bring in real world treasure from earlier civilisations - photos, descriptions etc. Much easier to do.

I'll do that. I loved MERP back in the day and when I gave up rpg after uni I kept my MERP book and three modules (Inc Moria). I nearly bought the Adventure Game but baulked at $120 via abebooks.

1st Ed AD&D DM book had some examples like this. 2 ogres had a fine wood casket with a silver necklace in it, random bags of coins, packaged cheese, slabs of pig iron, various tools, etcetera. It seemed like a lot of work.

Beowulf 5e has a good themed table as well. TOR gestures in this direction but it’s *too* tightly themed imo, possibly as a result of the way they abstract treasure — you can’t recreate the trolls’ hoard from The Hobbit with it
