Has anyone ever been in a happy traffic jam? Like I know it's traffic but I feel like everyone would be like "were going back home!" In this Pic and it's nice to think about
I imagine that most of them are not moving back but going to their hometown to check out how things are and visit family. It just would be the smarter thing to do.
Nah, Erdogan wants rid of them, it has been causing him problems politically. It's why he backed the groups he did on their plan to take over the country.
This is what we should be telling those anti-refugee morons. If they want to get rid of refugees, work towards makikg their home country safe and they will return voluntarily and happily.
Most people dont *want* to leave their homes, they *have* to. If its safe, they stay. Simple.
Yes!
Definitely this applies to the largest groups of refugees:
Syria, Sudan, Venezuela, Cuba, Central America, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Myanmar...
And Palestine, if the people could get out, which is not easy.
In the last 30 years, Hamas were cultivated by some elements of the Israeli government as a way of keeping secular democracy out of Palestine, and dividing Gaza from the West Bank.
Now, a just solution may be unacceptable to all parties!

Can you name any Arab country with secular democracy?
Is Israel at fault for all of them?
I'm not trying to defend all actions by Israel but this sounds like a conspiracy theory.
Gwynne Dyer has termed this balance "objective allies" (from 2021, he has had more to say since):

People insist it is, because they learned to hate and grew fond of that feeling.
