A ceasefire in Ukraine would allow Russia to reposition its forces and increase the threat to the Baltics, FT reports. Moscow aims to build a 1.5-million-strong army, doubling its troop presence near Finland and the Baltics.

Counter Russian aggression now, in Ukraine,
or
wait for the next war, possibly fought on NATO/EU territory.
Which one Finns, Estonians, Balts, and Poles would prefer is obvious.
Russia is positioned to build its army back up faster than Europe.
One which would likely see the Ukrainian forces bled to total exhaustion.
Russia can't afford to remove its army from the Ukrainian territories it currently occupies as long as Kyiv can launch an offensive.
Ok
This war has been a quiet ethnic cleansing in Russia: disproportioned amount of ethnic minorities have died for Russia, and some of the ethnic groups will not be able recover.
PS. Where’s #Putin going to find 1½ M men?
They’re not very smart are they?
The strategy is to overwhelm on multiple fronts and take over land like a cancer so that the cost of removing the cancer is death to the host.
Putin will kill millions of Russians to do it, too.
NATO has neither problem :)
The sooner our Eur leaders, beyond 🇺🇦, realise that anything but helping 🇺🇦 defeat 🇷🇺 now, will require "100 times" more efforts down the road.
Anything but a 🇷🇺 defeat represents 🇪🇺🇬🇧🇳🇴 betraying 🇺🇦 AND a gamble with our own future!
Don't count on 🇺🇸!
Is it not better to confine the war to UA and defeat RU there?
With the fall & subjugation of UA, the EU will face RU + UA army and technology.
Ukraine and its capabilities, resourcefulness, adaptability and technology being absorbed into Russia 💀
The only reason the Russian army is weak right now is that Ukraine is attriting it. When that stops, Europe has some serious catching up to do.
