Not sure. Freeland seems to have strong support within the caucus and the Liberal public. She is definitely not MY pick, but Carney has his work cut out for him.

Unfortunately, I feel that she shot herself in the foot with how she resigned. I don't know how that will damage her chances in the leadership race, but I have a lot of questions about it ... which won't be answered. But I remain a staunch Liberal supporter and will support her if she wins.

Some wounds are accidentally self-inflicted. Hillary hurt herself with "basket of deplorables" and Freeland hurt herself by going public with a private, very critical resignation latter. She should have saved the criticism for her leadership campaign, to distance herself from Justin. Not a good look

He’s the right fit for the new leader of the liberal party. I don’t know why it’s a bad thing for him to be an “insider”. Having inside knowledge is somehow a bad thing?
