I don’t like to be proved wrong 🤪 but would love to be proved wrong here. Otherwise why are the government doing this?
What do you think of Greg Jackson’s input (BBC Today), where he suggests that the solution is to restructure the energy market to a local pricing model? His position, if I understood him correctly, is that everyone’s prices would be reduced by removing market inefficiencies.
Current predictions are the Price Cap will rise again on 1 Apr by a couple of percent, then drop slightly in July and slightly again in Oct. Even then it's still expected to be slightly MORE than now.
Standing charges need to come down, and the regulator has direct control of that.
Who on earth his he working for?
Look at retail gas prices, and ask him why he dosent campaign to stop this profiteering?
