i’m hispanic, and i have family members who came to america for a better life. my family is from el salvador, and one thing about salvadorians is that they work just as hard as everyone. my grandma just became a u.s citizen. seeing ICE in my area saddens me. solidarity is what we need right now.

I'm so sorry you and your family are going through this. It's such bullshit. This country was made by immigrants, but European whites also 100% stole land from natives living here. What America is today tho, was built by immigrants.

if anything, no one is illegal on stolen land. and i’ve seen so many of my people working harder than the people who stole this land. it is pure insanity. i don’t understand why they want us to go away. “crime rates” but they choose to ignore school shooters who are literal white terrorists…

and the crazy thing is that i don’t see ICE raiding communities with any other immigrants, and i’m not saying they should because they all came here for a better opportunity, but why is it that it’s affecting my community more? my apartment complex is usually loud but now it’s all quiet.
