Too many to choose from but… Mark Lawrence is my favourite. Also Joe Abercrombie, Anthony Ryan, Peter McLean, Justin Lee Anderson, Ryan Cahill and Mark Holloway. And I don’t care what anyone says, Robin Hobb’s ‘wit’ bond with tortured animals in the Fitz & Fool books is Grimdark AF.
