Exactly. And this is why the left needs to be listening to disabled perspectives: people find it baffling and blame Musk's drug use when he utilises very standard techniques against his staff that are daily used against us. You can really tell how little attention people pay to structural ableism.

It reads like typical scaremongering about benefit fraud. Wouldn't be surprised if he's seen viral posts about "this guy claimed a salary for 5 years without doing any work!", got mired in reactionary replies about "the whole govt is like that" and believed it whole cloth
