I'm very interested to see what happens. American fascism created the superhero. Jewish men were shut out of fine art due to antisemitism and were watching their brethren overseas be persecuted. But comics was open to them. The superhero sprung from that painful situation.

I don't know what's going to happen in the floppies, but as long as Gunn remains in charge of DC on screen I'm not too worried. I was surprised and impressed that Peacemaker was explicitly grappling with American right wing violence and its historical connection to vigilantism.
