Democrats in these districts should hold town halls. Explain what’s going on, form an action plan, highlight that the elected officials are not doing their jobs. Republicans live in their district at least some of the time. Social pressure can be very strong.

They did this same exact thing in Trump’s first term — especially during the healthcare fight. Reps expressed fear for their safety, not that there was any violence, and dislike at being yelled at. Mike Lee was my senator at the time and he hid unless donors were present.
