I think OP's point was more that the reference doesn't really add anything useful to the opinion, and so perhaps a judicial order isn't the ideal place to be dropping gratuitous pop culture references just because you can.

It always amazes me when the inevitable backlash comes for people in the arts with big theater kid energy. Yeah!! Of course Lin Manuel and Chappell roan and lady Gaga have big theater kid energy!! THEYRE THEATER KIDS!! That’s how they made the thing you liked in the first place!
Do I want to be trapped in an elevator with any of them? Probably not but this ain’t a moral judgement this is just “I get embarrassed by even the thought of karaoke” differing disposition!
It should have been a fondly-remembered cult classic that your quirky US history teacher plays in class, but instead we got some of the most powerful people in the world touting it as the most important piece of culture for our age. Its a pretty fun show that got too popular for its own good.
