Literally parroting russian officials, talking heads and putinoids from ~4 years ago - "as long as there is no war it's all good". And when they start a war, they will say it's also good for you, kinda like manly tariffs.
I mean he's not super wrong. If we survive the next 100 years, we're going to have an insane golden age. The systems we have can only lead to change or death, so they would have had to improve. And the tech on the horizon - like fusion, life extension and space mining would make us prosper.
I believe this is an important perspective. Yes, times are dark and we are staring into the abyss, but if we survive that and don't let the machine grind the world to dust, we'll get to the next step of the ladder within our lifetimes.
You can't be depressed if you haven't went through nuclear war, a thing nobody has ever done before! I am very reasonable and not at all cartoonishly evil.
Do millennials get to be depressed? Cause I lost count of the earth shattering financial and political events in my lifetime, and still can’t afford a house. How about boomers who are about to lose their social security? Or the 700k homeless Americans? Vets with cancer? Kids with measles?
This Gen Xer didn’t. I am disappointed in my generation, though. They are following the Baby Boomer pattern (get more conservative as you get older). We were supposed to continue rebelling against the boomers. 😩

"I didn't believe I'd be brain chipped and shipped off to a prison camp in El Salvador...wow! Thank you god-emperor Musk!"
Pretty unbelievable for Boomers like Dimon.
