Cherry bomb chillies. After an early flourish, it's taken these a while to kick out a decent no. of pods, but they've arrived in style. Sweet and moderately hot, they make a great stuffing pepper, but the thick flesh will also suit a sauce. Deffo will grow again. Seeds from Welsh Dragon Chillies 🌶️🌱

An utter disaster rooted in 💩 compost at the start of the year that set me back by two months, and left the plants small and slow growing for weeks beyond that.
I have bushes and fruit nubbins now, but too late for a decent harvest 😤
On the flip side, it was a good season to miss - disappointing for most folk, afaict. 😞
I know it wasn’t just me as I’ve seen mention of problems very similar to mine.
There are a few unripe fruits, so there’ll be something eventually, hopefully 🤞
What was the compost that did you wrong? My error was attempting rockwool cubes, which I won't be trying again in a hurry.
I ended up trying four composts; Dalefoot and Heart of Eden are terrible, Melcourt is variable and either works or its awful, and Sinclair was okay-ish-maybe-perhaps.
