I have trouble with that too but my teacher, when my wife and I had one, told me to learn each part inside-out before trying to integrate them. Suppose if each hand already knows what it's doing, it frees brainpower to concentrate on co-ordinating the two

My best friend, early 2000's-alt-goth-scenester, played this flawlessly in the company of a bunch of rich private school kids at a house party. They were GAGGED. After finishing, and nobody clapping, he closed the piano, flipped everyone off, lit a blunt, and sat on the couch.
