I went to a panel speaking on trans issues not long ago. All 5 were trans/queer health care providers. A gay man, NB, 2 cis women, and a trans man. The cis gay man explained that "whenever someone says they're trans [he] just redirects them for a bit and it always goes away." 1/

I'm so far into transition that I can't actually fathom pretending to be a boy again. There isn't a cell in my body that's male/masculine. The idea that I could ever boymode or be forcefully detransitioned is such a joke. It's on the verge of impossible. And that's cathartic for me.
