I love them. My wife’s family had a tree in California. We had one in Florida, but salt spray from a storm killed it (we were *really* close to the beach).

I have two Meyer lemon trees in my “Cloister Garden”, a large grapefruit tree on the south patio and one very sad lime tree that hasn’t produced a darn thing in another patio. Lime trees hate me.

But, no apples in this part of Arizona. And, sadly, no hydrangea- my favorite flower.

My Meyer lemon tree is thriving in the desert but our citron lemon tree and tangerines aren’t. We aren’t sure if it’s the wind they get where they are or the sun exposure yet. But we will figure it out. All get the same h2O & nutrients.

I have never been successful raising a key lime here in the desert. The leaves always look terrible and yellow.

Yellow leaves on citrus can be an indication that it's being overwatered. It could be a handful of other things too, but most of the time it's an overwatering issue.

Correct. I see lots of people overwatering their citrus trees in Phoenix.

Water them once every 7 - 28 days.

I see people who water them every day or every other day.

Totally true in many cases. This lime tree was moved from my grandmother’s patio home 20 years ago and then moved again. It has never produced and always looked poorly. But, we grow attached to plants. We all have cuttings from her houseplant she kept in her kitchen for years and years.

Mine out here in Cali does pretty good and only gets a few hours of sunlight a day. It actually is due for a good pruning as it is crowding our peach tree.
