Horrible. I am pretty knowledgeable about Native history and this was one I did not know about. Read about these things now before all the plaques and info is whitewashed by this cult in office.
While this was a horrible atrocity committed during the United States of America's War for Independence, It never was, and never will be, a revolution or a revolutionary war. Learn the difference so we won't seem so stupid to the rest of the world.

I grew up near there and have been to the memorial many times. There’s a play in New Philadelphia, OH called Trumpet in the Land that portrays the event and what led up to it. I recommend checking it out in the summer when it runs (it is in an outdoor amphitheater).
